Noah was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect at birth, believed to be the result of his being born more than a month premature. Despite his early arrival, Noah weighed 8.5 lbs at birth, allowing him to grow into a happy and playful child.

Unfortunately, complications from his heart condition led to repeated hospital visits, when most children his age were going to kindergarten. Noah passed away at only 7 years old.

Noah Sr. and Janine turned the tragedy of losing their only son into a beacon of hope for other parents and children suffering similar conditions. The Noah Alexander Memorial Fund has since helped countless families find the joy Noah embodied down to his last day.
